The .NET / Sitecore Developer role at Swift Collective is responsible for implementing, customizing and deploying complete implementations of Sitecore for our clients. In addition, you will be responsible for project estimating, architecting and documenting projects you are assigned to.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with producers, designers, developers and analysts to ensure your work meets the expectations and objectives of our clients
• Provide thought leadership to the rest of the Swift Collective team in .NET technologies, Sitecore and its capabilities
• Provide end-to-end development for Sitecore implementations
• Work closely with HTML developers to preserve clean markup when implemented in Sitecore
• Hand-code custom .NET solutions for our clients, including custom .NET development for Sitecore projects
• Collaborate with the Swift project team and its clients in identifying technical solutions
• Provide hours estimates for future projects

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in developer team meetings
• Provide technical guidance to internal team and clients on .NET and Sitecore best practices
• Participate in the .NET community on behalf of Swift
• Provide setup, installation and configuration of Sitecore for client development, staging and live environments

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Well versed in C# ASP.NET 3.5. Minimum 3 years experience
• Well versed in Sitecore (multiple past Sitecore projects a must); minimum 2 years experience.
• Expert SQL query-writing experience. Minimum 3 years experience
• Knowledgeable in object-oriented programming
• Familiar with MVC
• Competant in HTML, XHTML, HTML5, and CSS2/3
• Competant in Javascript, especially Javascript libraries such as jQuery

The .NET / Sitecore Developer position also requires knowledge of the environment into which an application is being deployed. Qualified candidates should be familiar with configuring and deploying to Windows/IIS environments.

We are looking for seasoned developer with expert HTML, CSS and Javascript knowledge.  Hand coding standards-compliant front-end code is your craft.  Ideally you’ve worked with both open source developers and .NET developers.  You must thrive in an open, collaborative and highly creative environment.  your work is to bring to life the desired experiences of our team.  Your contribution to that experience is key. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 4 years developing website and applications and direct experience with the following:
